Slow Cooking Asian Short Ribs


2.5 lb. Beef Short Ribs
1 tbsp. Sesame Oil
1 tbsp. Coconut Oil
3 tbsp. Shallot, chopped
2 small Red Chiles, chopped thin
2 tsp. Garlic, minced
1 tsp. Dried Ginger
1 tsp. Dried Thyme
1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 cup Chicken Broth (Organic from Costco)
1/2 tsp. Guar Gum (Lifesource)
2 tbsp. Coconut Aminos (Lifesource)
2 tbsp. Rice Wine Vinegar
Salt and Pepper to Taste


1. Mix together all of the ingredients, except for the beef short ribs, in a bowl.
2. Coat the beef short ribs with the mixture, then set into bottom of a slow cooker.
3. Pour remaining mixture over the short ribs and cook on low for 7-8 hours.
